ALSO OBSERVED EMPLOYEE BLOW AIR INTO THE GLOVES TO ATTEMPT TO PUT THEM ON. MANAGER NOTIFIED OF IMPROPER PRACTICES AND OF NEED TO PROPERLY TRAIN EMPLOYEES ON HANDWASHING. CRITICAL VIOLATION 7-38-030.

    Inspector note: FOOD (ICE) NOT PROTECTED DURING STORAGE INSIDE OF THE ICE MACHINE AND IN THE ICE BINS. OBSERVED MOLD GROWTH ON INTERIOR CONTACT SURFACES OF THE BASEMENT ICE MACHINE AND OBSERVED BLACK MATERIAL IN THE ICE INSIDE OF THE MACHINE. THIS MACHINE WAS TAGGED HELD FOR INSPECTION. DO NOT USE UNTIL THE HELD FOR INSPECTION TAG HAS BEEN REMOVED. ALSO, OBSERVED A CAN OF ENERGY DRINK AND A PERSONAL WATER CONTAINER STORED INSIDE OF THE ICE BIN AT BOTH 1ST FLOOR BARS. THE DRINKS WERE STORED IN A BIN OF ICE USED FOR CUSTOMER'S DRINKS. MANAGEMENT REMOVED THE DRINK FROM THE ICE AND DISCARDED THE ICE. SERIOUS VIOLATION 7-38-005A.
