Inspector note: PREVIOUS SERIOUS VIOLATION NOT CORRECTED FROM MAY 24, 2018 (REPORT#2176247) AND FEBRUARY 9, 2018 (REPORT#2144823): (32) OBSERVED A PIECE OF JAGGED STEEL ALONG THE TRIM UP TO THE WALK-IN COOLER DOOR. INSTRUCTED TO REMOVE JAGGED STEEL TO PREVENT WORKPLACE INJURY AND TO PROVIDE A SMOOTH, EASILY CLEANABLE SURFACE. AT TIME OF INSPECTION THE VIOLATION HAD NOT BEEN CORRECTED; AFTER THE ASSISTANT MANAGER WHO WAS NOT HERE FOR EITHER OF THE LAST 2 INSPECTIONS CALLED THE DISTRICT MANAGER, A REPAIR-MAN WAS ONSITE DURING THE INSPECTION. THE REPAIR-MAN WAS ABLE TO CUT OUT THE JAGGED STEEL AND INSTALL A NEW PIECE OF FLAT SHEET METAL TO PROVIDE A SMOOTH, EASILY CLEANABALE SURFACE. VIOLATION WAS CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION.
