OBSERVED APPROX. 50 MOUSE DROPPINGS ON THE FLOOR AGAINST THE WALL AND UNDER STORAGE RACKS IN THE BAKERY PREP AREA, 10 MOUSE DROPPINGS ON THE LEDGE UNDER THE 3-COMPARTMENT SINK NEXT TO THE HIGH TEMPERATURE DISHWASHING MACHINE IN THE BAKERY PREP AREA, 5 MOUSE DROPPINGS IN THE CLOSET OF THE DELI PREP AREA, AND 5 MOUSE DROPPINGS NEXT TO THE FANNIE MAY FREEZER BETWEEN THE FLORAL AND PRODUCE DISPLAY AREAS. MANAGEMENT INSTRUCTED TO CLEAN AND REMOVE ALL RODENT DROPPINGS THROUGHOUT. ALSO OBSERVED APPROX. 40 LIVE ANTS ON THE FLOOR OF THE BAKERY AND DELI FOOD PREP AREAS. ADDITIONAL PEST CONTROL SERVICE IS NEEDED TO ELIMINATE THE INSECT AND RODENT ACTIVITY. PRIORITY FOUNDATION VIOLATION 7-38-020(A). CITATION ISSUED.

Inspector note: OBSERVED LIQUOR BOTTLES STORED IN A ROOM WHICH WAS PREVIOUSLY USED AS A WASHROOM. THERE IS A FOUL ODOR IN THE ROOM. MANAGEMENT INSTRUCTED TO PROPERLY CAP THE DRAIN FOR THE TOILET AND REMOVE THE HANDWASHING SINK AND CAP THE DRAIN.
