Inspector note: When a can is dented too close to the top or bottom seam the integrity of the product may be compromised and subject to spoilage. A review of the canned food products was completed as part of the inspection. Approximately 20 dented cans were identified. These cans exhibited dents on or close to the top or bottom seals. Dents of this type can jeopardize the integrity of the food container and/or products within. The dented cans must be removed from the retail shelving.
