    Inspector note: All food should be properly protected from contamination during storage, preparation, display, service, and transportation. FOOD NOT PROTECTED DURING PREPARATION AND STORAGE. OBSERVED CONSTRUCTION AND REMODELING NEXT DOOR TO THE KITCHEN AREA WITHOUT A SUFFICIENT PROTECTIVE BARRIER BETWEEN THE WORK AREA AND THE KITCHEN. THERE WERE OPENINGS IN THE PLASTIC BARRIER THAT WAS SET UP IN THE DOORWAY BETWEEN THE KITCHEN AND THE CONSTRUCTION AREA. MANAGEMENT WAS INSTRUCTED TO INSTALL A PLYWOOD DOOR THAT COMPLETELY COVERS THE DOORWAY AND PROTECTS THE FOOD FROM CONTAMINATION. SERIOUS VIOLATION 7-38-005A.

IMPROPER PEST CONTROL OBSERVED AND REAR DOOR IS NOT RODENT PROOF. OBSERVED SEVERAL FLY STRIPS HANGING FROM THE CEILING IN THE PREP AREA. MANAGEMENT INSTRUCTED TO REMOVE THE FLY STRIPS AND DID SO IMMEDIATELY. ALSO OBSERVED REAR EXIT DOOR TO STRATFORD DR. NOT RODENT PROOF WITH A 1/2" GAP AT THE BOTTOM OF THE DOOR. MANAGEMENT INSTRUCTED TO RODENT PROOF THE DOOR. ALSO OBSERVED SEVERAL HOUSE FLIES ON THE WALLS OF THE DINING AREA AND BAR. FRONT DOOR WAS OBSERVED OPEN DURING THE INSPECTION. MANAGEMENT RECOMMENDED TO KEEP DOOR CLOSED TO PREVENT ENTRY OF FLIES. SERIOUS VIOLATION 7-38-020.

MANAGEMENT INSTRUCTED TO INSTALL A PROPER PARTITION BETWEEN BOTH RESTROOM STALLS. SERIOUS VIOLATION 7-38-030.
