Improper Maintenance of Floors

Inspector note: Sweep the basement and retail floors on a nightly basis. Staff should sweep and remove all of the rodent droppings. When done on a nightly basis the point of entry for the rodents should become evident. The floor within the seafood area should be cleaned sanitized and dried each night. This area appears to be the primary water source for the rodents identified. The floor area beneath the vegetable bins and beneath the conveyor belts should be cleaned each night. No vegetable debris should be left overnight. This appears to be the primary source of food for the rodents.
