    Inspector note: OBSERVED POTENTIALLY HAZARDOUS FOODS AT IMPROPER TEMPERATURES AT THE SALAD BAR IN THE CENTER AISLE: SLICED CHICKEN STRIPS AT 50.3F, HARDBOILED EGGS AT 46.9F, COTTAGE CHEESE AT 50.3F, SLICED CUCUMBER AT 47.3F, SLICED CAULIFLOWER AT 47.7F, SLICED TOMATOES AT 49.0F, SLICED SWEET PEPPERS AT 48.4F, SLICED MUSHROOMS AT 47.7F, AND ARTICHOKES AT 46.9F. THE COLD-HOLDING UNIT WAS SET AT 48F UPON ARRIVAL. AFTER TURNING THE TEMPERATURE GAUGE DOWN TO 37F, I VERIFIED THE COLD-H0LDING UNIT REACHED 38F BY MY THERMOMETER AND 38F BY THEIR INTERNAL THERMOMETER. INSTRUCTED TO SET TEMPERATURE GAUGE UNDER 40F AT ALL TIMES. MANAGER VOLUNTARILY DISCARDED 5# OF FOOD WORTH $20. CRITICAL VIOATION 7-38-005A
