Food ProtectionInspector note: Clams and / other shellfish should not be stored on the floor of the establishment. Once received they should be promptly stored on a shelf within the walk-in refrigerator. When placed on the floor for any amount of time there exists the potential for cross contamination. Beverage containers should not be stored within the ice machine. The ice is used for beverages. The exterior of the containers are subject to bare hand contact and contact with surfaces within the wait-station and other areas of the restaurant. There exists a potential for the exterior of the containers (in this case plastic) to contaminate the drinking ice. The containers were removed.
