    Inspector note: Within the basement vegetables and meat products were observed adjacent to each other on the same level of the three-door undercounter refrigeration unit. Any leakage from the meat packaging could contaminate the exterior surfaces of the produce within the unit. It appears that whole vegetable products (peppers herbs) are repackaged in the same location that beef and chicken cuts are packaged. BISD was unable to verify through interview that the staff were properly cleaning and sanitizing the equipment and food preparation surfaces between preparation and packaging.
