Failed findings

  • Non-Food Contact Surfaces Clean
Inspector note: Two of the ice wells that were not in use during the inspection exhibited small amounts of food debris or mold (beneath the cold plate). The staff cleaned the ice wells during the inspection. A third ice well located adjacent to the rear dish machine had mold within it. The manager stated that the former ice well is no longer utilized for the storage of ice and that it is simply a stand for the glass racks to set upon. The unit should be cleaned to eliminate a potential source of water for drain flies.
